Suzuki Swift R Slideshows

In 2009, when I was in my third year in study, I first driven my swift. It became my daily driven car from KB to Bandar. In 2010, modifications began until now.

Swift reconstruction

On 27 September 2013 (Friday), at 09 15hrs, my swift got hit by a reckless incoming driver from a T junction. I was driving at a constant speed of 50km/hr straight when suddenly a driver exit using entrance track and not looking on his right view before exiting.

The accident seriously hit my front radiator, cable gear transmission, left suspension arm, absorber. My side fender altered but not affecting the whole part as the modified steel fiber fender has resisted the hit.

The driver did not admit his fault and wanted police and insuran agency involvement to get away from paying my car damages. However, police blamed his carelessness and would have to face court charges in future.

When my car admitted at an authorized KB workshop for fixing car accident, I was told that the insuran would not cover the modified bumper and headlight. Insuran would only covers the engine parts. I have no other choice but to order a new swift R front bumper and a set of swift projectors headlights. As the fender damages are not that serious, the workshop agrees to fabricate as to maintain its wideness.

Some minor changes are made such as gun metal front and rear diffuser, rims and a set of long bright LED DRL to be placed at the slanting brackets of front bumper intakes. This is to increase visibility as to prevent accident.

ZC 32s Swift R like design

I have been busy this month not to update my blog. Anyway, those with the new zc32s could now make their rides similar to the swift r concept. Sporty looking ride.

Swift R new shelter

Normally, my swift hibernates on the concrete mat under the galvanized roof of my family home garage, but now the area had to be cleared for my brother's new Mazda 6. Well, the Mazda is more wider and longer than the optima parked on its side.

Temporarily, my dad has built a new strengthened tent just for the Swifts. The specially made white tent allows reflection of heat and is erected tightly with iron wires to prevent the clogging of rain water on top. The grassy ground is not yet cemented and 3 steel pipes are pushed deeply into the ground and roped tightly to the coconut stumps. This prevent the shelter from sudden collapsing especially during intense storms.

The striking purple silver

How on earth does the swift looks like if in purple silver?

Risky drive on loosened wheels

Though the exhaust pipes already welded in place, somehow the noise it created dampen my driving mood. I almost thought that the squeaking noise comes from something hitting the tail pipes even after rubbers already being placed beside the second tail pipe manifold.

After several checking, the source of the annoying noise was found. The noise was not from the exhaust piping but from the untightened bolts of rear wheels/ rims. I think the workers probably loosened the bolts of the rear wheels when fitting the new bumper but they forget to tighten it.

Car pick-up

Today, I am so eager to pick up my car from workshop. The clerk told me that the car's bumper has already been painted but the piping for exhausts are still not welded yet.

Looks smart with diffuser in red matches up the body color

I  picked up the car at 6 pm and really satisfied as it looks amazing with the twin exhausts. I told the welder that I will come again on Tuesday next week to let them finish their job welding the piping that will connect the twin exhausts.
