Swift R vs Swift R

Early November 2011, I have witnessed the development of swift modification on my brother's Suzuki Swift. He has updated his swift with a complete set of Swift R body kit. The Swift R body kit is one of the most anticipated body kit for Suzuki Swift owners. This is because the Swift R has an aggressive look contributed by its wide looking front fenders and unique spoiler.

The Swift R body kit has a wide front measurements compared with the other Suzuki Swift body kits like the Sport, Monster, Hikari, Scrit. This was evidence when the car body specialists and paint experts recommended to enlarge a few inches of the front fenders. The front bumpers when installed was not easily fit into the Suzuki Swift at first and had to remove some of the essential steel protection bar and also the inside clips on each side of the front to fit the bumpers.

My brother's Suzuki Swift was at the workshop for more than a month for installing the body kit, widening the fenders and painting. After a month later, the Suzuki Swift R has finally reached home and my brother realized that he needs to send his Suzuki Swift R for another week to cut the side front bumper as the tips were touching the tires when driven on bumpy roads. This time my brother decided for a new project to repaint the roof in black and the outer A pillar in red. The result is an amazing look as if the Suzuki Swift R has a sunroof and a touch of luxury is present.

The rims of the Suzuki Swift R is also repainted to have red strips that add sporty looks.

As for my case, I have bought the Suzuki Swift R body kit in October and planned to install the front bodykit in December. Unfortunately, my Suzuki Swift was badly hit while I was driving near the Teko roundabout at KB. I had made a terrible mistake of driving on the right lane but planned to go to the left. Without looking on the left, I just drive as I looked that cars were still far away on the right side of the roundabout.

One of my Angle Eyes projectors smashed but ironically still functional. The left fenders as well as the bumper had been severely smashed but the airbags did not ejected as the hit was not that serious but as the Suzuki Swift steel body is not too hard and strong, the side fender on the left was badly alternated.

The next morning, I decided to find a workshop that was able to fix my Suzuki Swift in two days time. Most of the workshops I went at KB unable to fix it in two days. They said the damages were serious. Only one workshop offered a reasonable price and quality. The workshop's name is L.V.C workshop at KB. I have seen many cars being modified with good qualities at the workshop. The services given there were also better than other workshops I went before.

The time has come for me to install the Swift R body kit. Unlike my brother Suzuki Swift R, I wanted the side intakes, lips as well as the front meshes in black. My bother Suzuki Swift R front meshes painted in black but its side intakes and lips are painted in unique silver varnished.

And unlike my brother Suzuki Swift R, my Suzuki Swift R has no wide body work. May be in the future. We will see later. Insya Allah.

Swift R Conversion Kits

While I was updating my blogging tools, I clicked on the SCB website just to check any interesting news and updates. Then in the chatbox, there was a link to a website selling complete set of Swift bodykits.

I was very surprised and very happy that the swift R concept body kits can be imported to Brunei for a price around 1 500 by a local seller. Since, my brother is also looking for the complete set bumpers and planned to just custom made the bumper, I share with him of this good news.

Here are some of the pictures of the Suzuki Swift R bodykits:

Not really aggressive but beautiful and eye catching
The LED strips can be fitted on the side like the Swift R
The mid outlet is the placement for the exhaust like the Swift R

Side view: Sportier and athletic

Notice that different color tone on the front bumper?

The Swift R concept has wide front fenders

Very nice spoiler but I wonder where could be the screws that attached it? The downside of it.

Very attractive looking diffuser! But there should be two mufflers rather than one heheh
