Suzuki Swift Adjustable Arm Rest Console Box

I am very happy with the installation of the console box in my swift. It makes my swift more fun to drive as I can now rest my arm during long journeys. It is also used to keep some stuffs inside the console box. However, the space inside is not so large and there is no cup holder as the one my brother bought.

But the console box has an adjustable arm rest that can be pushed and pulled forward.

With the Console Box installed, the Swift interior is slightly improved.

  1. Did you get this from Ebay? Jumbo depot? I'm looking at installing one for my car also but not sure if ebay sellers are trustworthy. I can see in your photo you bought this from Jumbo depot, is this correct? The reason I ask is because your photos look different, the lid looks much thinner and much better quality leather! Thanks for your help!

  2. Yes from Ebay. Sadly, the 2nd adjustable arm rest is no longer available. However there are new adjustable arm rests available at ebay offering better price and better storage than the one I have bought.

You can trust that your item will be shipped to your doorstep if you choose Fedex or DHL. But I prefer Fedex. If the seller wishes to ship by using express or standard, then go for the express for safety reason and quick timing. Usually items arrive in less than a month if more than request for refund.

    Your welcome

  3. Hey! Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it.
That's a shame, I really liked the leather top lid that your arm rest had. I did do some research on EBAY, but it's a little hard to tell the leather quality from the photos, is there a particular arm rest you would suggest? That is easy to install?
I also liked the extra length that you got from your arm rest.

I think the closest I could find was this one, if you don't mind, let me know what your thoughts!

  4. Your welcome.

No worries I have found the right item that suits your needs.

The arm rest top lid can slide forward. But its rather more pricey.

If you opt for easy installation, the best one will be:

I believed the arm rest you've shown me also suits your interest as well as you are looking for sliding top lid. The price is also a good bargain and it has ample storage and the height of the arm rest can be adjusted.

The only downside of it is you have to screw the arm rest stands on each side of the handbrake console. The stands of the three arm rest that I have linked can be glued into the mid cup holder using 3Ms tape. But if you are not intending to change into different arm rest in the future, I think it will be just fine to buy the one that you have linked me.

Hope this will help you decide :)

  5. Definitely helpful! Did you use 3M tape for yours? I've heard glue doesn't work well. I think I prefer one that slides forward, I'm small so my seat is further away from the arm rest and I think I would need the extra length! The first one is probably my preference, I don't mind paying extra for the perfect addition to my car. It says to have it professionally installed, would you happen to know how much this would cost?

  6. Yes I used 3M tape to stick and tighten the gap around the stand after I pushed it into the cup holder. It is very hard to remove the stand once you wrapped it with 3M tape.

Well, its easy to install it, there is a diagram on the site. I don't know exactly the cost in your country. But here in Brunei, the cost probably around B$ 20 plus equal to US$15.
